The GDPR (data protection regulation) sets requirements for how personal data is collected, stored and processed. For a healthcare website, this means, among other things, that contact forms and booking systems must have clear consent, that data must be stored securely and preferably within the EU, and that you as the person responsible for operations can always report which data is processed and why. We build all of this right from the ground up.
WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) are international guidelines for digital accessibility. Public healthcare providers in Sweden are obliged to comply with WCAG 2.1 AA according to the Act on Accessibility to Digital Public Services. Private actors are strongly recommended to follow the same standard — partly to reach more patients, partly to avoid future requirements. We always build WCAG compliant.
