It started as an MVP — and it was exactly the right move

We built the first version of zorc.se in Base44, an AI platform to quickly get something that works. Smart? Yes. We validated the idea, got a site live in record time and were able to focus on the important thing: the customers. Starting fast isn't cheating — it's how modern products are born. Anyone who waits for "perfect" never launches.

But an MVP is just that: a minimum. When the ambition grows, you outgrow no-code. We reached the ceiling — and instead of compromising on quality, we did what few dare to do: rebuilt everything from scratch.

The stack we switched to — built for speed, control and growth

We migrated the entire site to a modern production stack:

  • Astrowith server-rendering — pages generated on the server, not in a slow blob of JavaScript in the visitor's browser.

  • Cloudflareon the edge — the site is served from data centers close to the visitor, wherever they are in the world.

  • Soup base(Postgres) with row-level security — real database, real access control, no shortcuts.

The result: we own every line of code, every table and every pixel. No lock-in. No platform that can pull the carpet away.
